Surprising weather for Mother’s Day.
After brunch with PVS,
we head out to see Ma+Pa Hayes for a mother’s day visit.
Returning home,
it is wonderful to have G+B back in town and visiting with us.
Chee-to is also thrilled to see G again!

a fun and full weekend of visits,
and for reunions.
A rather cool spring Saturday.
After a quiet morning at home, we go to our garden plot.
All weeded, compost / manure added and ready for our plants…
delighted to inherit a strawberry plant!
Maylee drops by the garden,
we share a lovely lunch and catch up together.
In the evening a visit with PVS for K-BBQ,
and a fun night of conversation, sharing videos and lots of laughter.

our garden plot – ready to grow,
spontaneous visits – always so great to catch up with Maylee,
and for a fun night with big thinker, PVS.
Finishing classes and case studies was a stressful experience.
Realizing today that my stress manifested in a nagging shoulder pain.
Consistent pain for over a week is relieved by Brendon today.
Loving my acupuncture sessions, so happy for the shoulder relief.
When I arrive home, our outdoor deck flooring is being installed.
Incredible timing – installation is completed just before the downpour of rain!
A quick home clean up and dinner preparation…
a cousin of my mate is coming for dinner.
It is a fun visit with a great meal…and I stayed up past midnight!
Grateful today for
relief from shoulder pain,
our beautiful new deck floor,
and for sharing time with cousin Michael.
Tuned into WWOZ today. So good to have New Orleans at home…
Morning coffee at Waga,
noon session with Rashida,
and then to the outskirts of the city to get our car tire replaced…
The afternoon is sunny and beautiful, even though rain and thunder were forecast.
Windows wide open – and a lovely spontaneous visit with PW who caught us in the window.

A full day starting with 2 rounds at the dentist,
then to a cosmic birthday lunch.
On the way home, bumped into university K-pals –
How incredible it is to see friends from 2+ decades ago…and yet it truly feels as though it were yesterday that we were all hanging out at 338 together…

a full day of getting things done and visiting with friends,
random reunions with K-pals,
and for being home.
