My mate arrives at Idlewild this morning! Yay!
After a heavy duty week at work, he is happy to be in nature…
away from meetings, presentations, and with a long weekend ahead.

We spend the day making a fire to get the sun to come out, and it did. ;)

Such fun hanging out with the goats.

Grateful today for
a fabulous and fun day outdoors,
making friends with Vinny the goat,
and for the incredible amazement and wonder I feel each time I see the baby robins.

Bursting with life

The day is overcast and cooler than yesterday…
A morning with Jenn in the country is fun and adventurous.
To the market for food, and then for plants to be planted in the floating garden.
Quite the adventure getting the garden to the soil!

And then…the bursting of life.

A Day in the Park

Brunch reservation at 10 am today at Commander’s Palace. Loved being in the garden room. A special brunch place…

Today, everyone is off on different adventures.
Some to golf, one going to the fairgrounds and I am off to Audubon Park.
Needing some quiet and nature…Absolutely perfect to hang with the turtles, ducks and heron…

the warm sunshine and cool winds,
the beautiful nature and creatures at Audubon,
and for a perfect spot to sit by the pond.

Quiet Tuesday

Started the day with a yoga session for three.
Great to see classmates and to share a yoga experience together.

Returning home,
perhaps I was too calm?
The house is quiet and clean…
feeling a little blue – not certain what that’s about…

Pigeon returned to our window today,
eating way more seeds than any of the sparrows.

Grateful today for
a good yoga session – and connecting with classmates,
for a quiet reflective day,
and for a condo board meeting that went smoothly.

Sunday with Mate

An easy morning on a day of relaxation.
My mate’s mind is working away on a prototype he needs to build…
While not the warmest of days,
the sun is out and it is beautiful.

We take a walk down Wellington and then King and Simcoe,
for dimsum at the Pink Pearl.
Walking home along the water,
it is so great to see boats and birds on the water.

Grateful today for
a day of relaxation,
and all the signs of spring in the music garden.
