Songwriters at the Falls

An easy afternoon drive to Niagara Falls.
Autumn colours are spectacular and our room has a beautiful view of the falls.

Dinner and the Songwriter’s Series, an intimate musical conversation between 4 Nashville songwriters.
A lovely evening, with the bonus of casino winnings.

Grateful today for
a lovely evening with the Chairman and Susan – thanks for sharing the Songwriter’s Series with us,
a fun date with my mate,
and for the colourful autumn scenes seen.

Rain!

The wild rains today are so welcome…
a friend wrote me today saying that she could hear the grass singing…ahhhh.

More cooking today and preparing food for upcoming meals.
In the late afternoon, a lovely walk in the rain to my appointment in Kensington market.
It is a good appointment and feels good to be making forward motion.

Grateful today for
making use of our fantastic kitchen,
progress and forward motion,
and for the beautiful rain.

Super Saturday

Shaking up the saturday routine…
No market visit today – enough food for a few more days.
Wellington care time before a leisurely breakfast at Old York.

Weather is wild – windy, rainy and gusty.
Feeling all the weather on our walk down King in the weather.
All of today’s items complete…in time for a pal’s arrival.

Dinner with the exuberant one and an online techie evening.
Photo taken at the birthplace of a new blog! :)

Grateful today for
the sensations of wild weather,
birthing a blog in the most fun way,
and for a super saturday.

531 – Mates on the Twomates

After a special breakfast of Eggs Benny by BEE,
we ride our bikes to do some rigging and cleaning on the Twomates.

Trying to remember where everything goes and connects
takes some clearing of cobwebs in the brain archives…
Fun to be back at the dock with my mate.

Grateful today for
the incredible meals we are having at Huron
leisurely bike rides,
and weekend snuggles.

415 – Sunrise, Sunset…

This week’s photography assignment:
lesson and assignment look so straight forward,
it seems obvious.
Armed with the lesson,
examples clearly in mind,
and a vision of the Perfect Photo…
reality is neither straight forward or obvious.

Grateful today for
warmer weather to be outdoors,
the lesson that got me out,
and a most humbling sunset experience with my nikon.
