An evening and night of art.
With niece Susie, we go to see Gaia, at the Distillery – an incredible show.
Then unable to cross the city in the car, we park it and start our Nuit Blanche walk.
A stop for food and drink at a new Izakaya on Dundas,
it is a delight to have Pa Hayes come join us for a beer.

Grateful today for
Nuit Blanche – a great event that brings people out into the streets,
the great weather we had today,
and for sharing it with family members.

Lunch in the afternoon with the nephews – so great to see them,
The evening is with ladies of Envision – starting with a personal care product party,
and then to an impromptu party at Wellington, where the boys join us.

Grateful today for
the great ladies – thank you for cleaning up the fragments of the blown up mason jar!

and for a fun Friday night.

Catching up on my blog entries,
I am looking at my notes for this day – and there are none.
Hmmm…looked at photos yesterday and tomorrow – none taken today..
Looked at my emails, and calendar to see if that might trigger a memory of the day…
nope.

Grateful today for
the data that I can look through,
the tech that makes it a speedy search,
and for finding a photo that feels perfect for today.

What a day!
Breakfast at the market and a restocking of our produce,
an early evening envisioneer gathering,
followed by a spontaneous + unexpected meeting downtown.

What a night!
The city is buzzing with the energy of the weekend,
and the launch of TIFF…

From bar to bar in the youthful crowds…

a full day,
new experiences,
and staying up til the wee hours of the morning…
