A hot, hot, sunny summer day in the city…
My mate spends the morning at the dock,
preparing the twomates for summer sailing.
From the dock to the island ferry dock,
we go to the island for the New Traditions: Island Art and Music Festival.
Loved my first experience of Gibraltar Point!
Grateful today for
a great island experience,
and the refreshing shower at the end of the day.
A day with no plans…
the weather is hot with gusty winds as I catch up on online time,
shattered glass panel starts curving and moving in the wind…

So good to return to the farmer’s market this afternoon – after a morning on condo board duty…
The stands are not as laden with fruit as they were at the Dubrovnik market, still, wonderful to be re-stocking our fridge.
Returning home, there is a hole in the ceiling and repairs are being done.
In the evening, mate and I have our first dinner at home…ahhh….so good!
Grateful today for
farmers everywhere and the wonderful produce they provide,
needed repairs being found out earlier rather than later,
and for making dinner at home.
Restoring Wellington to its home state from magazine state today…
An afternoon walk to the book store, the market and back – feels good to get back into the home routine…
Returning home in time for a visit with the Song family.
In 3 weeks away, Baby Bri has become a baby ninja buddha – rolling around, trying to stand…

and for being home.
