Sunday morning with the country mice – lovely, relaxed and natural.
Morning flows into afternoon, and my mate continues his cooking weekend –
a stuffed roast pork and sweet potatoes – recipe from the Beast.
Dinner is packed up and taken to Clairville to share with ma+pa hayes.
Great to share time together.
Grateful today for
a sunday morning with the country mice,
visits with friends and family,
and delicious food made with love.
Walking in the rain with my mate,
Visiting galleries in the neighbourhood and picking up ingredients – for my mate’s ratatouille.
The aromas from his cooking draw a neighbour in from the street, a lovely treat.
Wellington is warm and cosy for the arrival of the country mice.
A lovely dinner shared together, a walk to see the halloween costumes and a monster movie too!

My recollections of Song family thanksgiving meals are of a Canadian / Korean mixed meal. This year’s dinner, made by rocketgirl, was an all Canadian meal – delicious and great.
After our luncheon, we go to the East Don Parklands for a walk. The forests are beautiful and massive salmons are seen swimming up river.
