At the heliopolis – morning to noon.
Breakfast of fresh fruit and coffees at 1664.
Successful shopping and then to the beach.
The sun is out in full force,
the breeze and sea so refreshing.
Grateful today for
my mate’s wisdom to rest yesterday,
feeling recharged and ready for action today,
and for a perfect day at the beach.
After breakfast and our usual morning walk down the Sulphur Springs road, we go for a swim and a day at the beach. Harmony Beach – local, beautiful and not yet resort occupied – is our spot. Hanging out on the beach, the villa builder/inventer/scientist/engineer makes a sailboat in the sand.
Sitting on rocks, letting the waves wash over me – the sound of the waves is meditative and soothing.
In the afternoon, Uncle Stu arrives at the door – just in time for blender drinks!
Grateful today for
a perfect beach day,
for the conversation shared with the Elven queen,
and for Uncle Stu’s safe arrival at the Villa.
After breakfast,
we take a walk.
Through the pedestrian shopping mall on Lincoln,
north to the Holocaust Memorial
and then to the Botanical Gardens.
Returning just before noon,
we settle into our spots on the beach for a relaxing afternoon.
Grateful today for
the past few days spent with RB,
sunny, warm weather with a wonderful breeze,
and a relaxed day on the beach.
