This morning, the usual birds were sitting in the mulberry tree looking in the kitchen window,
looking to me like they were waiting for their seeds.
And then a new bird came along!

Sitting in the morning sunshine, I was quite productive.
Got my assignment done,
worked on a case study and even made my own meals.

All done in time for my Kensington appointment.
A lovely walk there and back.
A quick bite while watching an episode of New Girl
and then off to school for tonight’s practicum.

Grateful today for
a bright new day with a new visiting bird,
insights and strategies from Kensington,
and an interesting practicum on Mental Health + Addiction, and holistic nutrition.

Fridge and bar well stocked – Wellington is shiny and clean.
A lovely afternoon visit with NeighbourNad,
dinner prep all done and ready for new year’s eve with the country mice.

As we listen to the randomboys playlist,
my mate and I reflect on the past year and are grateful.

Grateful to be here,
for friends and family,
and for all the jolly times of 2012.

My mate woke up this morning at 4am and worked on clearing the bedroom floor of clothes.
Perhaps it was the lack of morning snuggles that caused my minor meltdown this morning?
Fortunately by the time my mate left for the office, I was returning to myself and leaving frustration and anger behind…

Grateful today for

and for my mate and the friends who helped get me through a tough day.
