A leisurely walking day

A beautiful sunny day.
Hanging out in the day with Uncle Stu.
Walk to Kensington Market – sharing a snack at Hibiscus, then down to King Street for a drink on the patio.

Home to meet my mate and then out for a walk to dinner in the garden.
Great to see friends not seen for a while.

Grateful today for
visits with friends,
a lovely walking day,
and for Gav who took today’s photo – and found the flash intensity controls!

Susie

Our first visit with Susie.
The niece who in my mind somehow remains 12 years old is a lovely, bright and beautiful young lady.
Caring, honest and wonderful to chat with about just about anything.

Grateful today for
all the terms I learned from Susie today – WOOFer….and ….oops, don’t remember the other 2!
a lovely time sharing and catching up,
and for a beautiful day for our visit with Susie.

Visit with the boys

A lovely afternoon with family. Justin is full of energy, ever questioning and completely adorable. Brien sleeps most of the time I am there. Awake for a few moments he smiling and beautiful.

Grateful today for
an afternoon visit with MunHee,
beautiful nephews to play with and adore,
and for family.

Re-entry

Coming from the lush green landscapes and beautiful blue seascapes of St Lucia, the rainy, foggy, gray streetscape of Toronto seems bleak.

Re-entry is harsh.
My mate spent his day at the office and out of the office taking care of problems.
My day was easier – tons of laundry done and making our current nest as comfortable as possible.

In the afternoon, we have a lovely visit with the Song family. Baby Brien has grown much since we last saw him. Wonderful to capture moments of my mate with Baby Brien and Justin.

Grateful today for
a comfortable place to stay while Wellington is being completed,
the visit with family,
and mostly for comforting snuggles with my mate.
