Downtown Pigeons

To Korea town for groceries to make a favorite soup for the next few days of TED…

On the way home, I stopped to look at the birds through the lens. They all looked to the left…and then to the right…and they were off!

Grateful today for
a sunny day,
a promising looking recipe for Yuk Gae Jang,
and a moment with the downtown pigeons.

407 – Degrees of Motion

This week’s photo lesson is about implying motion.
Ties in with my current reading
cooking,
and this evening’s dinner…

Varying degrees of motion…
individual perspectives unique,
the starting points, end goals, and the journey that bridges the two
so individually felt
and common amongst many…

Grateful today for
gatherings of friends,
the sharing of perspectives and experiences,
and openness that embraces it all.

385- the pigeons

Walking this morning to Kensington Market,
from the south, through the park…
A flock of pigeons flies in, descending all around me.

Continuing through the park,
the flock follows me as I go along the path.
Alarming, uncertain and amazing all at once.

Grateful today for
this wild experience with pigeons,
and Kensington Market – the park in it, the people, the shops, and its raw nature.
