Spring Cleaning

Woke up this morning and began a day of spring cleaning.
Whew! 9am – laundry in, bedroom and main floor all cleaned up.

K-OS for breakfast – nice to walk there and back,
a few items picked up in the market before returning home.

Treated this afternoon to lunch by MunHee + Alex.
Wow! our favorite K-dishes…YUM!
And time with the beautiful song boys.

A relaxed evening and more spring cleaning…
Clothing drawers organized and freed.
And then it is movie time – tonight’s feature: Jack the Giant Slayer.

a perfect spring cleaning Saturday,
our visit with Yi-Chan and Yi-Min,
and for lunch – thank you so much for making lunch for us today!! xxoo

More refining of the case study for my oral exam on Thursday…
Good to work at Envision.
Back home at 2 in the afternoon and the crew is just finishing their shoot.
Amazed at the amount of work that is done and with their efficiency.

A late afternoon gathering with friends to celebrate a career change.
Great time with conversation, food and drink.

Grateful today for
SK – for our beautiful home and TV moment,
and a fun evening celebrating new directions.

Freaky Friday

Watched a sparrow this morning acting rather piggish…
Plenty of seeds about for the 30+ sparrows in the tree.
Fluttered about to kick out 3 others trying to get at the seeds.

Still feeling a bit freaked out by neuropeptides…
must carry on…
to studying for a test tomorrow,
on the legalities of an RHN designation, if I choose to consult.

Hope I got the gist of things,
really don’t want to start memorizing which section of which act of legislation-
tells me what I can and can’t call myself,
what I can and can’t say to clients,
what is a food, drug, nutritional supplement, etc, etc…

And then the snow began.
Beautiful, fluffy and white.
Perfect time to cook a few things.

Grateful today for
the piggish sparrow,
email conversations with MZ, trying to get to the truth of things…
the beautiful snowfall, and especially for a warm cosy home.

Birds Outside the Window

“I love you. Be kind to yourself.” said my mate as he headed out on his sailing trip 6 days ago.
Not really that long, still…
Sleep has not been the best and Sleepasaurus is one of my nicknames!

Tired tonight.
It has been 6 days of nutrition…day and night.
and not always being kind to myself.

Grateful today for
the birds outside the window – observed with curiosity and wonder as they eat their seeds,
continual learning through study, conversation and online searches,
and for my mate – free bird, I love you.
Thank you for your patience – it’s not so easy for me to be kind to me.

Massive Monday

Monday began perhaps a bit too early for all that was to happen.
From morning studies at Dark Horse,
to lunch with JB at Brasiliano,
and off to meet my study group.

A walk with an adorable nutrition pal,
to garbanzo goodness with the cosmics…

The night ends at the Rex,
took 3 pals there to catch a set with Victor Bateman…
Yikes! Wrong night!!

At the end of the day,
I am missing my mate and so grateful for the little sticky he left by our bed.
