On Bushy Head Mountain
We have been at Mountain Blessings in Cherry Log, GA for 1 week.
Prior to that, we drove through West Virginia, overnight stop in Morgantown,
then to Charlotte, NC for a couple of nights…
Drove on to Brasselton, GA for a few rounds of golf with Uncle Stu before arriving here.
Settling nicely into the cabin,
enjoying the serenity and quiet of the mountains.
So far, no encounters with the 500 lb bear and her 4 cubs. Whew!
It’s been an emotional week for me.
Loving the new environment we are in, always up for new adventures,
and realizing how far we are from our known world…
The Elven Queen once told me that change has its stages.
I’m often not prepared for all the stages…
Possibly too rushed to notice?
Grateful today for
the miles we have travelled without incident,
all our friends and family who love and inspire us,
and for MAO. Thank you for taking me on this grand adventure with you.

Where did the time go?
6 months at the cabin in Caledon have come to an end.
So many wonderful moments appreciating nature and #cabinlife.
We loved having friends and family visit to share the cabin with.
Our double birthday party was epic for us…
I floated on the party vibes for weeks… So much love.
As we move onto our next destinations, my heart is filled with gratitude for
our Caledon Cabin experiences,
our friends and family,
and for MAO… What an amazing adventure to share with you. xxoo
Earlier this week we had an important meeting in Charlotte, NC.
On our way to the airport, we hit a hole in the road and got a flat.
10 minutes from home…
Not a lot of extra time…
What to do?!
Springing into action,
we contacted ONroute to get the tire replaced and Uber to get to YYZ.
As we made our way to the airport,
MAO talked with Troy about driving our car home once the tire was changed.
All is set and we make it to our flight.
On boarding the plane, there is a message from Troy.
The tire has not been changed – sadly no spare in the trunk.
MAO asks Troy to help get the tire changed and the car back home.
At the end of the day,
Troy has paid for a new tire,
replaced the flat and driven the car home.
Today we met with Troy to repay him.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for everything he did for us.
Grateful today for the good and helping spirit of strangers.
